Italy doesn’t need much of an introduction — it’s the place where everything looks like a postcard, where coffee somehow tastes better, and where the simple act of eating pasta can feel like a spiritual experience.
It’s also one of our top destinations for 2026Lat, and for very good reason.
Whether you’re chasing sunshine, planning a family adventure, or simply need to press pause and relax somewhere beautiful, Italy delivers every time.
Let’s take a look at a few of the spots we’re loving for next year.
If you’ve ever dreamed of sitting by the water with an Aperol Spritz in hand while colorful boats bob by, Lake Garda will happily make that dream come true. This is Northern Italy at its most relaxing...think pretty villages, mountain views, and gelato on repeat.
Why we love it:
It’s family-friendly but never feels crowded or hectic.
You can visit Gardaland (Italy’s own theme park) or take a ferry between lakeside towns.
There’s wine tasting for adults, castles for the kids, and views that make everyone happy.
Lake Garda is perfect if you want a bit of everything — sunshine, scenery, and that lovely “we’re-on-holidays” feeling.
If you’ve seen photos of pastel houses stacked on cliffs and thought “that can’t be real,” it absolutely is. The Amalfi Coast has been charming travelers for decades — and once you go, you’ll understand why.
Base yourself in Sorrento for easy day trips to Positano, Capri, or even Pompeii.
Yes, the roads are windy, and yes, the drivers are enthusiastic, but it’s all part of the fun.
Why we love it:
The scenery is outrageously beautiful.
You can eat pizza in Naples, sip limoncello in Amalfi, and be back in your hotel before sunset.
Every corner looks like a movie set — so charge your phone because you’ll be snapping constantly.
The Amalfi Coast is bold, bright, and a little bit chaotic in the best possible way.
Tuscany feels like it was designed for people who need to slow down.
Golden fields, olive trees, farmhouse stays, and sunsets that make you sigh.
Why we love it:
You can easily explore Florence, Siena, or Pisa on day trips.
The region is made for lazy lunches and local wines.
Every photo looks like a painting — it’s genuinely that gorgeous.
Whether you’re a couple looking for romance or a family who wants a countryside break, Tuscany gives you the space (and the pasta) to completely unwind.
Italy ticks the boxes for almost every kind of traveler.
There are beaches, cities, lakes, mountains, and food that deserves its own passport stamp.
It’s also incredibly well connected — with direct flights to cities like Verona, Naples, Rome, and Florence, you can get from your desk to your deck chair in just a few hours.
You can go for a week, a long weekend, or even pair it with another European destination.
Flexible, fabulous, and full of life — that’s Italy in a nutshell.
If you’re starting to picture yourself sipping coffee in a sunlit piazza or drifting across Lake Garda, we can help make it happen.
We’ll sort the flights, hotels, transfers, and those little extras that make the whole thing seamless.
All you have to do is pick the dates and pack the sunglasses.
